We had an AMAZING weekend at our first ever Bust Craftacular at the Makers Faire at the NY Hall of Science in Corona Queens!! It was SOOOO much fun! First of all the Bust Magazine people were super nice and great to work with. And the fair itself was super cool! The Bust craftacular tent was a grouping of tents among the massive fair. So it was a huge combo of fun crafty things, as well as  awesome scienc-y/techie things, cool eco friendly things, some great food, and some totally wacky things lol.  I’m such a super dork, i was in heaven, i loved it all!!!

The crowds were great! We were insanely busy and got such a great response from everyone! It was so great meeting and talking to everyone. I still can’t believe we sold out both days, crazy!!! You guys are rock stars!!!  A HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to buy fun chocolatey treats!

Since there were so many awesome things, i took a few pics and videos of amusing things. Here is our dinosaur neighbor. It was a full size climb on metal dinosaur that you could manipulate from inside and make it breathe fire. It was way cool! There was even a couch on the back to sit in like 20 feet off the ground attached to the dinosaur…lol.

This cracked me up!!! It’s fabulously silly but i loved it!  It was a car covered in plastic fish, lobsters, and sharks, that moved and sang along to various songs all powered from the car. Check out the video here  20110919-064615.mov .

This tent had lock picking seminars every half hour, that could come in handy!

 Neon painted robotic drummers. This one was my favorite, i love the shrunken head at top lol!
