This was a special cake for a surprise 50th Birthday. The woman of honor’s favorite painting is Klimt’s “The Kiss” and her husband wanted a 3D version in cake, so this is what we came up with. The cake itself is chocolate cake with vanilla chip frosting, covered in fondant (lots o’ fondant, both figures, are made entirely of fondant) and shimmered with various color luster dusts.
