This cake was super fun to make! The idea came straight from the imagination of 6 year old Jose for his birthday, and i have to say i love it! All he wanted was Mickey Mouse on a bowling lane. I love how kids minds work…lol! 
So i elaborated a little and came up with this. Mickey bowling on the front lawn of his clubhouse!
The cake itself is yellow cake with chocolate buttercream filling, and tinted vanilla buttercream on the outside. The red clubhouse base is yellow cake with vanilla frosting covered in fondant. The grass and “bowling lane” are made of buttercream and all the rest of the decorations were handmade in fondant. And of course the authentic plastic mickey mouse figurine i found on amazon.com. So pretty much everything except the figurine is edible! Happy birthday Jose!
