These are super addicting! Oooey gooey, sweet and dense, with a little crunch….YUM! I made them for the holidays last year as part of a family cookie platter, and i still can’t get enough of them, even in the middle of the summer. And i have to say the warmer weather just makes them even more gooey, it’s fabulous! They’re pretty simple, i like to describe them as “A whirlwind of butterscotch, white chocolate, semi sweet chocolate, caramel, coconut, and marshmallows in a brown sugar cakey dense cloud!” . Yes i am a total dork…lol. What i love about these is that all the chips and such are not only on top, but also in the batter of the bar. So you always get a little bit of everything in each bite! How great is that! Definitely an all year round treat! Yummy!

4th of July Flag Double Decker Brownies
Thursday, July 1st, 2010
Happy 4th of July!!! And what better way to celebrate than with chocolate….chocolate….and more chocolate!!! These are our original double decker brownies dressed up for the 4th. For those of you not familiar with them, it’s a chocolate chip blondie on the bottom, our decadent fudgy brownie on top, and a little bit of chocolate ganache in the middle holding it all together. For this flag variety, i cut them into pieces resembling a flag, drizzled them with colored chocolate, and then put them back together. I love doing desserts like this because you get the effect of a larger dessert, but still have awesome little bite size pieces. A plus all around! We hope everyone has a fabulous 4th of July filled with good weather, fun times, and some delicious desserts!
L-O-V-E Brownies
Monday, February 1st, 2010
A sweet treat that is simple, elegant and still delicious. And they are super easy to make. Take your favorite brownies and put them in the fridge overnight. Then cut them into hearts using a cookie cutter. Cut out letters, shapes or whatnot from thick paper (like a card stock), lay on top of brownie, and then sift powdered sugar over them. Remove the paper and voila, pretty brownies! And deelicious as well!
Festive Holiday Brownies
Monday, December 21st, 2009

Festive holiday brownies for the season! Our rich fudgy brownies topped with decadent frosting and sprinkled with holiday M & Ms and colorful tree sprinkles. Also below are our candy cane brownies. The frosting is refreshingly minty and then topped with red and white mint chocolate pieces.
The Andees company just last year starting selling chips in both red and green during the holiday season in the baking aisle. They come in bags similar to chocoalte chips. So you can still get a great mint flavor, but in chocolate instead of a harsher hard candy. And they are pre chopped into cute small pieces. How great is that!? They are my favorite for holiday baking, definitely check them out! Every year i have my various relatives in multiple states check their supermarket to hoard them for me…lol. If you love mint, definitely try to find these little delicious holiday helpers!

Brownies and cheesecake, two of my favorite things rolled into one. So simple yet so yummy! Of course now my mind keeps going, what new combos can we make…hmmm…..peanut butter cheesecake brownies, mint cheesecake brownies, maybe even some with raspberry jam swirled in. I so have to experiment next time i make brownies and have some extra cream cheese lying around. What fun things do you like to put in your brownies?
Fun desserts for a NJ bridal Shower! The highlight was a cupcake tower made of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, with icing to match the colors of the shower. The little discs on top are made of gumpaste and then royal icing initials were piped on each for the bride and grooom to be. We also made a brownie tray with decadent peanut butter and mint brownies, and a tray of white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies.
